Every part changes handling, so design taste has consequences: glass-cannon builds and flying fortresses genuinely play like different games.
Tip: build symmetrically first. Lopsided ships drift under fire, and drift loses duels before firepower gets a say. Ship-minded players should visit aircraft games.
